Club Policy for Bad Weather/Adverse Conditions

IN THE EVENT OF LIGHTNING

All players must leave the golf course immediately when the warning air-horn has been sounded or when there is lightning in the vicinity of the golf course. The course will remain closed and access to the course will not be permitted until the management of the golf club has given the all clear.

If a player is unsure whether or not the warning air-horn has been sounded but is aware of the threat of lightning, it is their responsibility to ensure they leave the course in the interest of personal safety.

IN THE EVENT OF FOG OR HEAVY MIST

When visibility is less than 200 metres (or the bunker to the right of the 1st fairway is not visible), access to the golf course will not be permitted until the management of the golf club has given the all clear. Players already on the golf course must return to the Clubhouse upon hearing the warning air-horn or when visibility is less than 200 metres at any point during their game.

Thank you for your co-operation
